Taniguchi, and written by Ichir? ?kouchi, with original character designs by manga authors Clamp. Set in an alternate future, the series focus on how the former prince Lelouch Lamperouge obtains a power known as Geass and decides to use it to destroy the Holy Britannian Empire, an imperial monarchy and a superpower that has been conquering various countries. |

This is one of my favorite anime's of all time. Lots of science fiction was used to make the mech's. Though, I would rate this anime for ages 17+. Main reason is you see nudity with no censoring (women) if it was males I wouldn't have finished the show. You may find this anime even more interesting if you play chess, like I do. Its because they refrence to chess quite often during battle. If you have any military experience, or a scientific understanding you would be lured into this anime. Poor as hell! No seriously this anime is sooo boring. It sat there for 5 episodes and I almost fell asleep. And I hate mecha animes. Robots robots robots, its like watching transformers. Not a good anime in my opinion.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
